ATTENTION PEANUT

You truly have endurance. We expected you to join us weeks ago! Doc says the 'official' due date was 6 days ago. Still, you're just hanging on and testing our patience! Just so you know, you're welcome to join us any time. But in case you decide not to, we're going to help you along in just 4 days... This coming Sunday, 'labour' day weekend. Grandma and Grandpa are going to be in town, Uncle K&L are going to be in town. It'll be a big welcoming party!

You have a way with people

Little bug:
Mom & I have always marvelled at how cute she is. Not just regular baby cute but exceptionally cute. She has a way of grabbing the spotlight and catching people's attention.

Like a few days ago at Superstore. She was waiting in line to pay, and she reached out and stroked some guy's arm in front of us. She stroked his arm a couple time and looked at him, smiled brightly, and said "Hi!". He just melted, and said "oooohhhh, can I buy you a car"?

Well little Bug, here we go. A place to list thoughts. A place to post pictures. A place to mark the milestones of your life and make comments on all the little mundane details that we live for. Sorry it wasn't done sooner, but it took a lot of careful consideration. Soon you'll be joined by Peanut, but for now it's just you & us. You are a true blessing and the greatest thing that has ever happened to us. Your smile, your laugh, your curiosity and your playful spirit are treasured by us more than you'll ever know. You're anxious and willing to learn. You love everyone and are happy to meet new people, young and old. You cry and get upset, but only when it's necessary, like taking a lump on the noggin or you've just had a very long day and want to get some sleep. Which you always do, as soon as you hit the mattress. (Wonder where you get that from) And that's just a few of the reasons we love you.
