Swimming

Bug has been in a little tot swimming class for the past 8 weeks. Now we've taken her swimming before mind you, quite a few times. But our first class was not a happy time. She didn't want to explore, or play or splash, she just wanted to cling to mommy. Ditto on week 2. It was very odd, since she always, always loved swimming before. We attributed it to the fact that during summer there was a long gap with no swimming... and she just got old enough in that time that the pool was a bit scary.
So as the weeks have gone by she has become much more comfortable. There is a little slide in the toddler pool, we tried sitting her on top a couple weeks ago. She slid down into mommy's arms and was hooked! For the past 2 weeks every time she saw it she shouts "lie!lie!" If we set her on the edge of the pool she runs over there, up the ladder, and right down. So cute. Not afraid at all.
Now jumpin off the edge into our arms... That's still going to take some work.
